This Masonic Hall not only hosts meetings for various orders of Freemasonry in Billingham but also acts as a vital Community Hub, regularly participating in fundraising and charitable events. Recently, we have proudly functioned as a drop-off center for the Feeding Families initiative and served as the finishing point for a TLC-sponsored cycle ride.

As Freemasons, we at Eanred Lodge actively support each other, our families, and the wider community in general. Alongside the regular Masonic Lodge meetings, during which we perform certain ceremonies akin to morality plays, we host various social gatherings throughout the year. These events, such as Race Nights, BBQs, Valentine's Nights

Our Members
Eanred Lodge boasts a diverse membership of all ages and backgrounds. Among our Freemasons, you'll find Decorators, IT consultants, Welders, Driving Instructors, Tattoo Artists, Roofers, Electricians, and Car Salesmen, all coming together in our welcoming Masonic Hall. We hail from across the local area, including Billingham, Norton, Stockton, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, and Redcar and Cleveland.
In summary, we are a group of like-minded, family-oriented, charitable individuals who cherish the friendships that Freemasonry in Billingham fosters.
What is a Freemason?
From the outside, a Masonic Hall can often look rather mundane. However, once inside the lodge room at Eanred Lodge, Freemasonry in Billingham truly comes to life. Age-old artifacts, art, Masonic symbols, and the pageantry of our rituals create an immersive experience. More than anything, when Freemasons gather in the lodge, it’s a reaffirmation of our Masonic values of brotherly love, relief, and truth.
A unique aspect of lodge life is the coming together of generations and differing backgrounds. To become a Mason at Eanred Lodge, one simply needs to be a man of good character and to believe in a Supreme Being, whatever form that may take for each individual. What binds Freemasons together is our obligation to each other to become the best possible versions of ourselves.
With this bond as common ground, strong, lifelong friendships naturally form between men of different generations, religions, races, economic backgrounds, or political beliefs. Ask any Mason, and he’s sure to tell you that through the Masonic Lodge, he has become brothers with men he may never have crossed paths with in everyday life. This is one of the fundamental aspects of life as a Freemason.
